Hello,
This is Jennifer Bailey the creator of the Theraplush toy line. I wanted to thank everyone for such a nice experience at the conference this year. I learned so much and was endlessly inspired by each presentation I went to. I will be designing some new characters for the line and I will update everyone when they are available. Thanks again for your inspiration and support! I look forward to next year.
I have attached a link to the Theraplush website here for those of you who were unable to attend.

Drew and I are at the PA School Counselors' Association today promoting the conference and Play Therapy in general. Play Therapy Techniques are an integral part of my elementary counseling program and I'm so excited to see several play-related workshops this year. It's often hard to find play related trainings, which is why we organize a two day conference each year for folks who work with children and adolescents. We have a great conference this year focusing on special populations, with a keynote by Daniel Yeager on improving executive function. Check out the conference registration link to register. It's a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of play therapy while earning CU's or Act 48 credit. Hope to see your there!!!

Hi All,
Just FYI, on March 18th and March 27th I presented information on the benefits of Play Therapy and joining PA-APT at Lehigh and Temple Universities respectively.
Both presentations were well received and several in attendance took our JOIN APT brochures.
A wonderful question posed at the Temple presentation, which was also the North East Atlantic Sport Psychology Annual Conference, was 'given that play is so beneficial why do we stop playing?'
I would be interested in your responses to this question!
Best,
Linda
