PA-APT's 2008 Annual Conference: Playful Healing, Playful Caring: Using Play Therapy to Change the World

PA-APT's 10th Annual Conference is almost here...our 2008 Conference is scheduled to take place at Temple University in Harrisburg, PA on Friday, June 13th and Saturday, June 14th. Dr. Anthony Palumbo AKA "Dr. Silly" has graciously agreed to educate and entertain us with his puppetry and humanitarian work in play therapy. Break out sessions will also be offered related to our theme of changing the world through play therapy. As usual, conference attendees will enjoy door prizes, opportunities to network, and lots of relaxing play time. An informational meeting to assist those interested in becoming a RPT or RPT-S will also be offered over lunchtime on Saturday the 14th. New to this year's conference, participants are invited to come dressed in playful attire each day. In keeping with our theme of using play therapy to change the world, PA-APT is also in the process of selecting a local charity to "give back" to at the conference.
