Ethics in Play Therapy Supervision
Presenter: Denise Caldwell, LCSW, RPT-S
Ethical consideration in play therapy supervision is a must. This session will look at why we need ethical guidelines and how play therapy supervision differs from play therapy consultation in terms of legality and responsibility. The main issues for play therapy supervisory ethics are having an informed consent, competency in play therapy supervision, confidentiality and obtaining consent for play therapy supervision, and dual or multiple relationships in play therapy supervision. Play therapy supervision case studies will be presented to address ethical considerations in play therapy supervision.
